9 singers and 26 instrumentalists will explore the dramaturgy of St Matthew Passion with director John La Bouchardière, following our St John Passion together at the iconic Bachfest Leipzig in 2019: ‘The story of the suffering and death of Jesus Christ can hardly be more intense than through the telling of this remarkable collective’ (Leipziger Volkszeitung).
