We are delighted that our recording of Telemann’s “Donner-Ode”, which we made in collaboration with the Swiss ensemble Les Passions de l’Âme in 2022 has been released on the CPO label.
The project was a difficult one to realise, as it took place during the throes of the Omicron COVID-19 variant, taking many of our singers out of action. However, the resulting disc is something of a triumph over adversity and has brought to life first recordings of two cantatas from Telemann’s late works.
